	I spent a good minute and a half just staring at it, like-- is that really what he just said? Really? My tinhat-senses are going off. And yet, that continued to be the subtitles on the screen. I love it. (Reply to this) (Parent)

I had the same reaction! Like--is that really what it says? Really?? And No matter how many times I go back and look at it, IT IS. a;lskdhga;lgsh I LOVE THIS SERIES.

And, oh man. Saiunkoku Monogatari is SO CRAZY GOOD. I have no idea why it's not more popular than it is: it's got SEVERAL strong interesting independent female characters, and interesting political maneuvering and intrigue, and some heavily implied hotwrong and GORGEOUS art. Moral ambiguity and D/s and OT3 and secrets and canon ghei and canon bisexual characters and just. ;al hgka;lsdgh WATCH IT. Seriously seriously. This series needs more love.

And also, BranchandRoot wrote some really fantastic fic for it, so. I mean. Well.
