Apparently, the series by Sarah Monette that begins with Melusine is referred to collectively as "The Doctrine of Labyrinths Series". Awesome!

Nearly-completely unrelated, have a running list of all the DoL fic I've been able to find. None of it is entirely worksafe, I'd say, but nothing's outright porn either more's the pity.

Scars, by Greensl33ves at FF.net. Mildmay gets five bruises, and his scars get some attention. Felix starts drinking.

Appassionata, by Greensl33ves at FF.net. Gideon is badly jealous of a man he likes, Felix has issues with blood and dominance, and Mildmay thinks everyone's insane.

Weight of a Promise by Greensl33ves at FF.net. Short drabble. Felix is unaccustomed to resisting temptation. Mildmay is a damned good reason to practice.

Ficlet by ifIcouldfly at porn_battle. Felix has insomnia, and Mildmay should remember to keep his nightshirt pulled down.

In light of all the recent feminist rage, I want something positive about female-ness.

So! Let's have drabbles. Give me a character (male or female) and something hot/awesome/fun/empowering about women, and I'll give you a drabble/drawble.

Because apparently I am completely incapable of sitting on things for any length of time.

This one is for Kiwi, who asked for Gideon and Sebastian dressed up all fancy. She got a bonus Garnet to make up for the fact that 1820's era mens clothing? Not so fancy, even the fancy stuff. And, I got half-way through painting this and then got bunnied hard for a 20 c. AU club-wear version of these three, which I make :( faces at not having time to do right now. Soon. Soon.
